Dan Hannigan, inspired as a young man by
the Apollo Lunar Missions, launched his life
dream following a path of aviation and
science. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Geology with a Mathematics minor from
Northern Illinois University. Dan is
currently pursuing an advanced degree in
Remote Sensing at the University of
Colorado-Boulder. His passion for flying and teaching, are exuded in Dan’s energy and enthusiasm as a FlightSafety Instructor Pilot and airborne weather RADAR technical expert.
As an active global contract pilot, Dan has vast weather flying experience at all altitude regimes, spanning
five continents. He has logged over 11,500 hours of flight time with corporate, fractional, and charter entities. Dan maintains current flight instructor status and is an arduous advocate of safety, high level CRM, and thorough aircraft system proficiency.
